Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation Board

Larry Steward serves as the president of the Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation. He was previously the general manager of student media at Colorado State (from 1986 to 2004) before the organization became a non-profit educational media company. Steward has worked as a newspaper reporter, editor and columnist, and also served in the U.S. Army as a photographer in Vietnam. He teaches as an adjunct professor in Journalism and Technical Communication. Steward received a B.A. from Colorado State (journalism ’73) and was graduated with a MBA from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1986. During academic year 2012-13 he is serving as the president of the Western Association of University Publications Managers and will host the group’s annual conference in Denver in May 2013.
