Swimming team heads to Nebraska for Husker Invite

While the majority of the student body is thinking of turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie in these last few days before break, the CSU swimming team has something else on their mind: the pool. The Rams are headed to Lincoln, Neb. today to take part in the Husker Invite, which will run from today until Sunday.

Rams blown out by Colorado, 93-63

The CSU women's basketball team lost their second game of the season Wednesday, falling to rival Colorado 93-63 in front of 3,558 fans at the Coors Center in Boulder. While standby problems with traveling violations and free throw shooting were not a problem for the Rams, fouling, field goals and poor defensive play in the second half plagued the team.

Volleyball faces must-win matches

The CSU volleyball team doesn't seem to be acting like there is much pressure on them, even though this weekend's trip will be the biggest of their season. The Rams head to Utah for a two-game swing against the Brigham Young Cougars and the Utah Utes, and if CSU can sweep both, the Mountain West Conference title will reside in Fort Collins for the seventh time.
