UWIRE: Eco-friendly study tips make final exams greener

UWIRE - Final exam week is around the corner, and it can be a stressful time. Amid pages of reading, endless facts to memorize and papers to write, it might seem impossible to fit in some time for the environment. Luckily, this hectic time at the end of the quarter contains opportunities for you to successfully study in an eco-friendly way.

Washington continues bungling bailout efforts

While we eagerly wait for the inauguration of our new president, the foul odor of the Bush administration continues to waft over our downtrodden economy. Only a month after the passage of the much-hyped bailout, it's already proven to be completely flawed.

OU View - Let's celebrate students

On Monday, our European peers celebrated Students' Day in remembrance and honor of the 1,200 students who were jailed and sent to concentration camps as a result of the Nazi invasion of Prague University in 1939. In their eyes, the day commemorates those Czech students who died and who left their mark on history by protecting the liberties and freedoms university students still enjoy today --those rights that some take for granted.
