Obama speaks to crowd of 45,000 plus

Sen. Barack Obama wrapped up his speech in the CSU Oval at about 4 p.m. today. He spoke to a crowd of more than 20,000 for about a half hour about many of the same campaign points he has been toting for a while -- his tax and healthcare plans as well as taking jabs at Republican candidate John McCain.
Barack Obama attracts miles-long line

The line started forming at 4:15 a.m. according to reports from the Fort Collins Coloradoan and is now stretching over a mile to at least Corbett hall on Plum Street. The presence of police and secret service agents is accompanying the large crowd waiting to see presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Sen. Obama coming to CSU

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama will visit CSU Sunday at 3 p.m., a student government official confirmed Thursday. Taylor Smoot, the president for the Associated Students of CSU, said the Obama visit will be a "monumental event" as the first presidential campaign visit at CSU.
