No. 25 women's golf headed to Broomfield

This morning the women's golf team, ranked No. 25 by Golfweek magazine, will compete in Broomfield, Colo., in the Heather Farr/CU Memorial. "I think this will be a good tournament for the whole team," said head coach Angie Hopkins. "The team has played the course before and anytime we are playing in Colorado, we feel like the home team.

If a No. 13 national ranking or an eight-game winning streak hasn't convinced you yet, just a little reminder, the CSU volleyball team is pretty good. What is yet to be shown is if they can achieve greatness. For the first time in several years, the CSU campus, alumni and other residents of Ram nation are truly excited about a team, as well they should be.
Bears defense spurs late quarterback shuffle

BERKELEY, CALIF. -- CSU coach Steve Fairchild likened his team's offense at times in Saturday's 42-7 loss at Cal to a "Barnum & Bailey Circus." Billy Farris, a fifth-year senior who had performed admirably as a first-year starter entering the game, was the ring leader, completing less than half his passes (12-25) for less than 100 yards (96), while getting sacked four times, throwing two interceptions and failing to get his team on the scoreboard.
Rams stay undefeated in conference, barely

Volleyball head coach Tom Hilbert said it is always good for his team to be tested. His team ran into an unexpected test Friday night from a 2-9 Wyoming Cowgirls squad. The Rams (11-1, 3-0) defeated the Cowgirls (2-10, 1-2) 3-2, many times during the match looking like the dominant team that has defeated Florida and BYU.
