Men's Golf headed to Michigan for Wolverine Invitational

The men's golf team will get their second tournament of the year underway Saturday at the U-M Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Rams will compete in the Wolverine Invitational against 16 other teams throughout the nation. Leading the way for CSU will be Bryce Hanstad who shot 11 under par in the last tournament two weeks ago in Colorado Springs, helping his team get the victory.

Fourteen years ago, Anthoney Hill was a senior quarterback in the middle of leading the CSU football team to one of its best seasons in school history. Today, Hill is back in Fort Collins, leading the Rams in a different way and about to receive one of the highest accolades the university can give.

Football hopes for revenge against Houston Saturday

After an extra seven days to prepare for the next challenge, the CSU football team is ready to take the field with hopes of winning back-to-back games for only the second time in 22 contests as they host the University of Houston (1-2) on Saturday. The Rams (1-1) are finally starting to come together on all fronts on the practice field with innovation in the playbook and successfully trying out players at new positions.

NS: The Rams are taking on Houston this week. Houston just played Air Force; their game was moved to Dallas because of Hurricane Ike down in Texas, but nonetheless the game went on. Air Force didn't complete a pass and won. How that works I don't know. LM: Only Air Force could do that.

Rams overcome Utes comeback at Moby

It looked like the CSU Rams were going to roll to another sweep at Moby Arena when they jumped up on the Utah Utes two sets to nothing, but Utah wouldn't let it happen. Then it appeared the Rams were set to drop the Utes in the fourth set, leading 24-21, but again the Utes rallied.

Tennis The Rams tennis team began in its second tournament of the season competing in the BYU Invitational in Provo, Utah on Thursday. The team will compete in both singles and doubles against Mountain West Conference rivals BYU, Utah and Air Force. Boise State, Weber State and Utah State today and Saturday.

With game winning plays in the final minute of their previous two games, the CSU football team is getting a reputation for last second heroics. The Rams(2-1) defeated the Houston Cougars (1-3) on the strength of a Klint Kubiak interception of with two seconds left in the game.

Volleyball Sweeps BYU in Three Games

The CSU Rams volleyball team defeated MWC foe BYU 3-0 on Saturday night at Moby, recording their 21st consecutive home match win.
