Uncovering the AIDS controversy in Africa

I am the Earth And the Earth is me. These were the beginning lines of a poem that I recently read. Given the prevalence of environmental awareness these days, Earth Day should be more than a day to advocate the preservation of the environment. It should be used as a day to remember our personal connection to the Earth.

Our View - Bring back the protest

Remember when activism used to be cool? Maybe it was back when the war in Iraq started, or right before the troop surge. We at the Collegian recall those days, when there was pride to be freezing on a cold Saturday morning just so you could shout to the world your feelings regarding this and that.
