Israel: The main ally against terror

To answer the question proposed by Mary Ackerson in her opinion piece, "Israel: A true ally against Terror?" we need to examine all sides of the conflict in the Middle East. Ackerson was at least partly correct. Unfortunately, recently there have been many Palestinian deaths, and yes, many young people were killed.
Straight talk express needs to gain steam

This past Tuesday was a day of celebration for the Republicans. Not only did the most recent string of primaries produce an official nominee in Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), but it also yielded more chaos than closure on the Democratic side. As the San Francisco Chronicle reported, "the Ohio and Texas primaries delivered big drama, dueling accusations of foul play and prospect of weeks if not months of further struggle.
Our View: Penley, cronies misled CSU students, faculty
Upon the revelation that Gannett dismissed the notion of a "strategic partnership," as coined by CSU President Larry Penley after a secret meeting in January, the Collegian staff has a few questions for the administration. Wasn't this so-called "advisory committee" formed to review proposals submitted by Gannett? If Gannett ended the conversation after the first meeting -- as far as we know -- why is this group still meeting and what is its purpose? Members of the committee seem to be asking the same questions.
