Guest Column: What ASCSU has been doing for you

ASCSU has been working hard since the beginning of the semester to address issues that affect our daily lives as students. Here's a rundown of what we're doing. The Morgan Library is easily the most universal study space and resource for students on the CSU campus.
Hysteria over uranium mining is unjustified

Generally political activism is something to be applauded, but the recent frenzy raised over the proposal for uranium mining in Weld County has really gotten out of hand. The uranium mining industry is not new. Uranium mining has been going on for the better part of a century and Colorado has been a leading producer of uranium since the 1940's.
LTTE: Let the allergic people know

Our View: CSU needs diverse students
If you're a CSU student reading this editorial, chances are you're white. If you're in class, take a look to your left, and then your right. Chances are your neighbors are white, too. In fact, 87 percent of the CSU student body is white. The other 13 percent represents Black, Hispanic, Asian American and Native American students, according to the university's 2007-2008 Fact Book.
