Landscape photos cover his apartment walls, where medals and other decorations could have been. For those who meet him, the Purple Heart license plate on his humble '96 Honda Civic is the only giveaway.

The United States is a country with a historical background filled with racial and sexual discrimination, and as inequities in wages, health care and education still exist, some say it's time for unity. So, in a time of heated racial and social debates, CSU is once again taking a firm stand on the advocacy of diversity training and cultural awareness.
Fire breaks out at International House

Emergency crews' lights flashed outside of the International House building Friday night after a fire broke out in the eastern wing of the building. The fire, which had broken out in the late afternoon, started on the balcony of room 349, then caught onto the balcony of room 249, directly below.
30-foot donkey stands over Plaza event

Patched with duct tape and faded to a putrid orange, a massive inflatable ass loomed over the plaza Thursday. The donkey, owned by the Larimer County Democrats who loaned the dummy to CSU Young Democrats for their first event of the year, has seen better days.
Protest erupts at Loveland Giuliani appearance

Sipping on a black cup of coffee and conversing with prospective constituents at a Loveland coffee shop, former mayor of New York City and presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani was surprised by a grassroots protest against his campaign, which is largely run on fuel from his outstanding performance after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
World Fair brings culture to campus

Students gathered at the Lory Student Center Saturday for the World Unity Fair, an exhibition of different cultural groups and countries represented at CSU and throughout the community. Hundreds of students and community members browsed booths and stages, sampling the culture of 24 countries represented at the fair.
Documentary brings stereotypes to the forefront

"Can you name any Asian American actors?" This was the first question posed to interviewees by the creators of the documentary film "rePresentation of Asian Americans in American Media," which examines the ways Asian Americans are portrayed by the media.
