Do you know what would make my day? Well, winning the lottery would certainly be a major plus, but more to the point: It would make my day if the Colorado legislature would put an end to drafting meaningless and superfluous legislation. Lawmakers bogged down with debates about whether 18-year-olds should be allowed to enter tanning salons make Colorado out to be a utopia.
Our View: Death penalty not justice
We're glad that justice has been served in the case of two killers convicted in the shooting death of Gregory Vann, whose murder police believe may have spawned the witness-silencing deaths of two CSU students. But we're a little concerned that the Arapahoe County prosecutor on Wednesday announced at a press conference that she will seek the death penalty in the 2005 murder of Javad Marshall-Fields and Vivian Wolfe.

Does anyone else find it odd that in the Collegian opinion section they criticize all the news coverage about Britney Spears yet one page later they cover the story? I had a dream last night where I was farming. It was hot and sweaty work under the relentless July sun.

Dr. Russell Humphreys is a ridiculously smart physicist and creationist. He received his B.S. in physics from Duke University in 1963 and his Ph.D. in physics from Louisiana State University in 1972. From 1979 to 2001, Dr. Humphreys worked for Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico, dealing with nuclear physics, geophysics, pulsed power research, theoretical atomic and nuclear physics, and the Particle Beam Fusion Project.
