CSU women’s basketball head coach Kristen Holt resigns
CSU needs to start its third head coaching search of the year, after women’s basketball coach Kristen Holt announced her resignation Thursday morning.
“I was in a place where I wanted to resign my position and move in a different direction,” Holt said. “During the season I hadn’t discussed it, that was all out focused on the year.”

Teams need to learn to handle adversity over the course of a season, and the CSU men’s lacrosse team showed its resilience, splitting its two weekend games. CSU lacrosse plays first home game against Washington
Cheering for the No. 1-ranked team in the country isn’t something CSU fans get to do often, but they will have the opportunity Wednesday to see the CSU club lacrosse team in action. The Rams play their first home game of the season against Washington at 7 p.m. on the Intramural Fields west of the Lory Student Center and just south of Moby Arena. Colorado State Volleyball adds Fort Collins resident as assistant coach
CSU volleyball coach Tom Hilbert announced Thursday the hiring of Brook Coulter as associate head coach for the 2012-2013 season. Coulter spent 2011 as an assistant coach at the University of Georgia and four seasons at the University of Denver before that. She played her college volleyball at California and was named to the Pac-10 all-freshman team. Coulter graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1995 where she led the team to a 30-1 record and state championship in her senior year.
