Colorado State women basketball gets trampled by CU-Boulder

BOULDER –– The Colorado State women’s basketball team’s five-game winning streak ended in disappointing fashion Wednesday night as the Rams fell to the CU-Boulder Buffaloes 73-49. CSU (5-3) knew the first few minutes of the game were crucial and wanted to set the tone early, but failed to do so as the Buffaloes (7-2) jumped out to a physical and commanding 10-2 lead. “We didn’t get off to a good start and then they just picked us apart, their driving, position and hitting threes,” said CSU coach Kristen Holt.
