New doctorate program 'puts CSU on the map' for developmental science
With the addition of its newest 76-credit-hour doctorate program CSU is now the first university in the state to offer Ph.D. degrees in Human Development and Family Studies as well as degrees in the baccalaureate and masters level. The new degree Applied Developmental Science is offered through the College of Applied Human Sciences.

SLiCE volunteers for less fortunate families
This holiday season Student Leadership involvement and Community Engagement gather money to buy turkeys for the Food Bank for Larimer County during its second annual Turkey Drive.Last year the drive raised over 1000 for Thanksgiving turkeys and this year SLiCE Volunteer Program Coordinator Keith Colton hopes the CSU community will be able to once again help the food bank provide meals for those less fortunate in and around Fort Collins.

Committee plans to make Fort Collins more bicycle-friendly

CSU band, fans upset over 2009 Showdown in Boulder
With uniforms gleaming and instruments polished the CSU marching band prepared to enter Folsom Field in Boulder. No problems were expected for the day with routines memorized and music fully practiced. Nobody anticipated the problem that would occur before the band even reached the field and it all happened so fast.
