Young Rams looking to gain experience

DENVER –– There was little question as to which side was superior on Saturday at Invesco Field, as CU-Boulder cruised to a convincing 24-3 victory over the CSU Rams in the 2010 Rocky Mountain Showdown. In his opening collegiate act, CSU freshman quarterback Pete Thomas showed glimpses of his potential but ultimately struggled to sustain any long drives.

Student government has decided unanimously to declare war against rival CU-Boulder. In a resolution passed at the Associated Students of CSU’s weekly meeting, the organization “officially authorize” Steve Fairchild to use force against the Buffaloes during the Rocky Mountain Showdown on Saturday.

Katie Woodward, a junior health and exercise science major, hangs her leaf on the promise tree Wednesday evening at the Small Steps to Sustainability open house located in the Student Sustainability Center offices. Attendees were encouraged to write a commitment for personal change on a recycled paper leaf and then hang it on the cardboard promise tree.
