Ski the Rockies at Vail

For all the ski bums out there, the Teva Mountain Games takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Vail. The Games are three days of snow adventure, from mixed climbing and Nordic races to dual slalom races and trick downhill skiing.

“Winter in the Rockies will never be the same as professional and amateur athletes converge on the mountains and villages of Vail for a celebration of adventure sports, music, art and the great outdoors,” the event’s website reads.

There will be free concerts, action-sports movies, professionals from all over the country and a $60,000 prize money up for grabs. For the amateur artists in us, they also do a photography competition during the whole event.
