Riding bikes is not only a great alternative to driving, its great exercise. This has nothing to do with being an environmental activist, it has to do with common sense. The notion that some people are more sensitive to our world than others is just another way of dividing people against people. Everyone cares about the environment, everyone needs to breath air and drink water. Walmart is a symbol of what makes this Country the greatest Nation on earth, Capitalism. As this Nation is a Capitalist, and not Socialist Nation, we should all salute those who have sacrificed everything to start a business that will provide a service, source of goods, or anything else. Unfortunately, there are to many U.S. citizens that have not had the benefit to appreciate the hardships it took by the founding fathers to successfully escape Tyranny. I would encourage all citizens old enough to vote to take the time to become acquainted with our history. It is going to be Independence Day, what does it mean to you, sadly, I see this Country becoming more and more dependent on other Nations, such as for oil. Finding alternative energy to replace the dependence on oil is important, but reality is too, for we are at least a decade or more away from producing, manufacturing and distributing it. Meanwhile, if our enemies in the Arab world decide to turn off the spigot, everyone will be riding bikes, unfortunately the grocery shelves will not be restocked, as there will be no truck to deliver the goods. 30 days of no oil? Chaos, looting, panic, and worst of all we will be sitting ducks for the Gihadist's, who we all know want us to either convert to Islam, or behead us. Ed
