I attended this meeting and feel this article grossly misrepresents the outcome. I walked away with the impression that most, if not all attendees felt that this committee was a step in the right direction. The quotes of "anger" from Sandy Newlin in this article were taken before she was informed of the vast community input on the decision to form this committee.

Nothing is perfect in this world and it is impossible to satisfy the needs and desires of every cyclist. I don't want readers here to think this is a total bust. Please attend the next community meeting on 11/24 if you have concerns. The committee is not yet official and this is an opportunity to collect even more community input.
