Mountain lion believed to be hunting near the Foothills campus

Abstract:
The CSU Department of Public Safety is alerting the Fort Collins community that it believes a mountain lion is hunting on the Foothills campus. They are advising those in the area to be cautious.

A lion killed a deer at the Colorado State Forest Service nursery on La Porte Avenue west of Overland Trail sometime Monday evening or Tuesday morning, university spokesperson Dell Rae Mollenberg said in a statement....

The report said that all staff was notified, WHAT ABOUT THE CUSTODIANS WHO WORK IN THAT AREA AT APPROXIMATELY THAT TIME. We had to hear it on the radio. We know that we are on the bottom of the food chain, but unaware that we were food for the mountain lions.LOL
