Maybe we should run around naked

Abstract:
I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday, and the history of it completely fascinates me. Every year, I watch "Hocus Pocus," and it never gets old. But, the Halloween of today does not even come close to what it is used to represent.

Halloween, also known as All Hallows Eve, is supposed to be a night to celebrate the dead and their return to this Earth....

Dear Robyn Scherer, its ok that you wouldnt understand what it's like to "have it, so flaunt it" on Halloween. There is a difference between 2009 and the 1800's.
Love always,

Dear Bri:

Just because you may have good looks doesn't mean you're entitled to something. In fact, attitudes such as yours often end up turning a lot of guys off.

Sincerely,

I like the looks, but the attitude is disgusting

P.S. I agree somewhat Robyn. Do I like seeing the outfits on some of the girls? Of course I do. But much of what I've seen is just completely tasteless.

The difference between 2009 and 1800 is not the issue. Flaunt what? Enjoy your skankhood now because gravity and time will get you.

This is hilarious, why does anyone even care? There is nothing wrong with one night a year getting dressed all risque... Nobody is breaking any laws and people are just trying to have a good time. For all of those so against the way people dress on Halloween, guess what, you can dress however you like.

I think it is even more hilarious that people like Kendra assume that people like Bri have low self esteem, in fact, I would suggest it is the opposite. It is similar to when I was a chubby little kid, I would never take my shirt off at the swimming pool. I was embarrassed, but did I say hey everyone else was tasteless because they did not look fat like I do, NO! Was I offended because guys were not wearing shirts and girls were wearing bikinis, NO! Now that I am no longer a chubster I never wear a shirt around my house or at the pool.

Bottom line, there is nothing wrong with flaunting it if you got it... Most people who criticize those who do, likely do not have it and wished they did. Be happy about yourself, and then there is no reason to criticize other for what THEY CHOOSE to wear on Halloween. Especially considering the most risque outfits I saw still covered more than a bikini...
