EXCELENT MOVE ON THE "FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE." CSU ALSO NEEDS A FAIR AND UNBIASED EMPLOYMNENT COMMITTEE TO ASSIST MINORITIES IN GETTING CLASS ASSISTANT, TEACHER ASSISTANT, GTA, GRA, TEACHER ASSSISTANT, AND OTHER ON CAMPUS JOBS AND POSITIONS ON CSU'S CAMPUS. BLACK, FEMALE, HISPANIC, MINORITY, INTERNATIONAL, OTHER NON WHITE, POOR WHITE, FAT WHITE, OLDER, GLBT, AND NON TRADITIONAL DIVERSE STUDENTS NEED JOBS TO STAY IN SCHOOL, MATRICULATE, AND GRADUATE. THEY NEED A SAY IN UNFAIR GRADING PRACTICES THAT STUDENTS KEEP COMPLAINIG TO ME ABOUT AND OTHER ABOUT AS ONE AFRICAN STUDENT WHO WAS RECENTLY TOLD HE PASSED HIS PRELIMS FOR HIS DOCTOTRATE BUT WAS LATER CALLED AT HOME AND WAS TOLD NOT TO COME BACK TO CSU BECAUSE HE FAILED THE EXAM (AFTER BEING TOLD HE PASSED). E ARE TALIMG ABOUT PEOPLES LIVES, FUTURES, FAMILIES, AND THE LIKE AND WHEN STUDENT HAVE TO SPEND 2 - 3 EXTRA SEMESTERS OR YEARS IN SCHOOL, THE IMPACT IS DEVASTATING!! THIS WOULD REALLY HELP IN THE SUCCESS AND "EVERY" CSU STUDENT REACHING HIS OR HER FULL POTENTIAL.

There are severa;l areas to check into:
1. Internal Audit Dept.--- The head of that dept. should report directly to the BOG. I have found that Penley writes and approves the Dept. Head's performance and salary review with the ''concurrence'' of the BOG audit committee.A violation of the Audit charter????
2. The Athletics Dept. loses about 12-13 Million dollars a year. This is made up by student fees and CSU subsidies. Why than are they building $20 Million in new structures that will only be used by the 265 schlorship jocks? Ain't no return on that expendature.
