Great job by Evangelist Bourgault and his family. Every campus in America needs a Bourgault! The very idea of this article condemning his signs as "bigoted", is bigotry in flipant disregard for your own philosophy! Praise God for Brother Bourgault! Keep it up! God is blessing, and getting all the whoremongers, baby killers, perverts and bigoted news reporter want-a-be's attention! God just might save some one from hell, because from the Bible point of view, most of the students on this campus are headed that way.

Mr Bourgault is right our colleges are teaching such liberal garbage and hate for God that our student are not able to understand truth any more and there is no accountability for there actions

Was this article supposed to be an unbiased one? The following quote would indicate otherwise. "Bourgault brought his wife and his four home-schooled children, who held up their father's bigoted signs denouncing sinners." The use of the word "bigoted" in this context shows a clear bias.
I agree that this is a free speech issue. We can't have free speech if we only allow speech we like.

This man is doing a good job preaching against sin. I am praying that he is living sin free himself.
My husband and I do the same thing. We street preach. Just last week the homosexuals got together to get ourselves and our children off of the streets, so the gays assaulted (yes, they did) our children and arrested us for "child neglect" which is a felony. The state took away the children, but we preached the gay oriented judge and the lesbian deputy down. I told them, while in handcuffs and shackles on my feet, that the children were going home with me once we got out of jail ($10,000.00 bond).
We left the jail without paying one cent and we left the Health Department with our children. They laughed at the gay deputies and told them, "You're 'gay' and you're going to hell."
Our three children had a riot. They told me that they laughed out loud and the gay men rubbed their butts together to mock the children. After we got out of jail, we walked literally to the Health Department and then to our van and took out signs and place a sign, per GOD, back in each of our children's hand and stood right in the SAME area in which the false arrests took place. We went back on Monday with a sign, "GOD hates GAY Deputies...Repent"!
What a blast!
We filed a Federal lawsuit against the Sheriffs' office on another violation and will be suing these bastards for the false arrest.
At lot more happened, but I don't have the time to tell.
All HOLY GHOST filled saints (yes, with speaking with tongues) please continue to keep us in prayer as we preach the gospel to the reprobates and the wicked homosexuals.

I thought the article was a bit biased, but on this subject it would be hard to be completely unbiased.
to be honest, it was the comments that caught my attention. and most of them scare me.
Who are we to say who Christ loves or not? He surrounded himself with tax collectors and unclean women . . . He loved them so that they might be saved, just as He loves all of us now. All we have to do is accept Him.
My dear Prophetess, shouting at people that they are going to hell is helping no one. Are you claiming to know the Mind of God? He is so much bigger than any of us! How could we possibly presume to know Him that intimately in this life? All we can do is live by the example of Christ, and He did NOT riducle sinners -- he prayed for them, loved them and reached out to them. It is my highest desire to be like that -- not to condone such behavior, but to love them nonetheless and lead them to the Lord.
Do you really want to see your fellow beings go to Hell? You could actually be helping to SAVE people instead of sending them to Hell. Odd, how the devil draws people to him in Christ's name . . .
I'm sorry for turning this comment into a debate, but other comments very much disturbed me. If this is too far off topic, please feel free to delete it.

Big-ot "One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ."
Sorry, but is that not what the signs are? Maybe its just me but I think people are defending some one who's not being attacked. How many of you posters know this man.....
Face it your the ones who cast the first stone. If he was anything more than a bigot he would be saving people not condemning them to Hell.

I believe it is God condemning those people to hell not the minister. He is simply repeating what God said.
If it was him condemning people to hell he would not have a bible and would just say I condemn you to hell.
Are you calling God and the Bible a bigot and bigoted book. LOL!
God condemns the wicked to hell in the bible so I guess that makes him a bigot.
Now if you want a bigot just go to Obamas old pastor. I didn't see anywhere in the Bible where it says the Government used AIDS to kill Blacks.

See I knew that anonymity made people bold and have said so before.
I would love to see Jessie go to the center of campus and identify him or her self and then make that statement about Allah.
You forgot one BIG BIGOT , YOU!

I'm not afraid to voice my opinions Craig.
Religious deities are bigots and pipe-dreams. Those that believe in them are generally bigots as well, although that is not inherently the case.
I won't deny your statement about me either. Religiosity is dangerous and destructive. If being intolerant of religion or blood-thirsty deities makes me a bigot, I can accept that.

And Craig, shouldn't I be able call Allah a bigot in the center of campus without fear of retribution?
I would think you of all people would be on my side on that.
Also, being godless does not make someone immune to bigotry. Atheists are humans and can be bigots just as well as anyone else. I did not call believers in God, Allah or Ishvara bigots (although many certainly are), I merely referred to the deities themselves as bigots.
I've never talked to most of the people that live in this city or this country, so I cannot know whether they have bigoted views or not. I do know that the gods they believe in are bigots and I'm not afraid to express that.

I agree Jessie that you should be able to say anything you want about Allah. But the reality is you can't.
Jessie online is different from Jessie what ever your last name is in real life. Whether it is right or wrong , you would still have a fatwah put on you.
Just look at the Dutch and their cartoonist that was stabbed to death.
I am spiritual not religious. Religion is man made and all men are sinners so why would I have another sinner interpret what God wants me to do.
I am sorry that you have never experienced a personal relationship with Christ. If you look at mankind , we have a hard wired need to worship something bigger than ourselves that most call God.
WHY? Where does this innate , in our DNA , need to do this come from. Even the most backwards and isolated people on the planet when left alone will invariably create God's to worship.
You do realize it is called the Theory of evolution. Evolution has many , many holes in it's theory. One might make the argument that it takes as much faith to believe in it as it does God.
The very concept of God would be a Bigot as he is the one and only God. If he was the creator of the universe as I believe how could he not be a Bigot.
You say Bigot like in every case being a Bigot is a bad thing. Let's analyze Bigot.
Overview of noun bigot
The noun bigot has 1 senses? (no senses from tagged texts)
1. bigot
(a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own)
OK , if you are God and you are truth , then wouldn't you have to be intolerant of others views as they would be lies.
Another example. SCIENCE. If you go to class and you tell your math professor that 2 plus 2 is not 4 , then he will summarily reject your views which could be considered intolerant of those views hence making the math professor a BIGOT.
How about Jeffrey Dhamer. He liked to kill and eat people. Now I am definitely prejudice against people who kill and eat others. I reject his views completely. Couldn't Dhamer say I was being a Bigot against him by definition.
So of course the one true God would dbe a Bigot in a good way. To tolerate other views would be to tolerate evil and lies. Why should he do that.
You see my point. We are bigoted in many ways that are good. We are Bigots against murder's and child molesters and we do not apologize for not tolerating their views.
Now in man's sinful perversion of God and misinterpretations , many false God's have been created that advocate killing and death as their mantra. I reject these false God's and thus could be considered a Bigot.
But as I said until you have a personal relationship with Christ , my telling you it is real will do no good. And after you have that relationship , nothing can shake your faith.

Here is a few things about God and America you may not be aware of.
Rooney
DID YOU KNOW? As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view .. it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!
.
DID YOU KNOW?
As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.
DID YOU KNOW?
As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see th e wall,
right above where the Supreme Court judges sit,
a display of the Ten Commandments!
DID YOU KNOW?
There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington , D.C.
DID YOU KNOW?
James Madison, the fourth president, known as 'The Father of Our Constitution' made the following statement:
'We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.'
DID YOU KNOW?
Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said:
'It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ'.
DID YOU KNOW?
Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.
DID YOU KNOW?
Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.
DID YOU KNOW?
Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law an oligarchy.
the rule of few over many.
DID YOU KNOW?
The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said:
'Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers.'
How, then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?
Lets put it around the world and let the world see and remember what this great country was built on.
Chamber , US House of Representatives
I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I didn't. Now it is your turn...
It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, it is very hard to understand why there is such a mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or 'In God We Trust' on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the other 14% to Sit Down and Be Quiet!!!
If you agree, please pass this on...

I never said that being bigoted is necessarily bad, only that those deities are bigoted.
Your point is well taken Craig. If the God you believe in is the one true god, then he is bigoted by necessity and there is no problem with that.
You are bigoted against Dhamer and that is good.
I am bigoted against religion and that (in my view) is good.
I'm not making a commentary on the right or wrong of bigotry, I'm only expressing my view that deities are bigoted and the bible is bigoted. Whether or not that is bad is up to you.
Where I disagree is where you state that humans thought necessitates the belief in something larger. I think that such beliefs are merely a stepping stone on the way to true human enlightenment and hearken to ancient and depraved superstitions. I think we choose to believe in deities as a form of escapism to avoid the reality that life is brutish, nasty, and short and by all accounts quite miserable. Man created God to protect him from reality and continues to serve as a shield for man's cowardice.
I've been deeply involved in churches and once considered myself a very spiritual person. However, I feel that I cannot believe in god if I am being truly intellectually honest.
Perhaps I am wrong and will burn in hell, but most of the interesting people are there anyway.

I think we will agree to disagree. I do find your last statement ludicrous and morally bankrupt.
Child molesters to me are not interesting. I find no fascination with mass murderers , or the others that will be in hell.
You are right though on what will await you in the afterlife , if you grieve away the Holy Spirit ( the unpardonable sin ).
I disagree with you that man invented God , and I believe God invented man. :)
There is just simply to much intricacy to have all this universe simply happen. To me that makes no intellectual sense.
If evolution is an ongoing process how come man is not changing into a different animal or being.
Why aren't we growing wings or becoming some other form of life. Why has evolution stopped.
Bottom line is you choose to think you are came from apes and other genetic mutations and evolved. You believe that all these systems that have balance and intricate operating parameters , just happened.
I believe I was created by the ruler of the universe. I believe the systems alone prove intelligent design.
Is God Jesus , I think so but I suppose God could be a super smart alien. LOL!
But I find it preposterous to think all this simply happened by accident.
Now let's analyze the outcome of belief and non belief.
If I believe in the ten commandments and God I will lead a righteous good life and be kind to my neighbors and fellow human beings. I will not covet their wealth , I will not kill them , and you get my point.
Following the Ten Commandments is a good thing. I believe I will go to heaven some day.
On the other hand non believers have no base for a moral compass. What teachings do you base your beliefs on. Why be kind? If there is no God then I could say kindness is just weakness and that being the stronger human being is all that matters. You could not contradict me as you have only your opinion of good to support you. Why would your idea of good behavior be any more valid than mine?
But if you have a God that dictates kindness I can use that as a moral reason to be kind.
You can see the problems non believers face.
For instance we know the world is being overpopulated and our resources are running out.
So eventually mankind will suffer horribly as we get to a point where the planet cannot sustain life.
So with no moral certainty , ( non believers have none ) then I could justify murder as somehow helping the planet and being the moral thing to do.
After all I am just trying to reduce the population and save mankind from the atrocities that will come if we don't thin the herd.
Also each non believer then has the right to invent their own reality and without God or spirituality giving us any certainty , none could rail against another's interpretation of goodness.
I'll stick with the Moral certainty odf God.

Ah, but mass murderers, sociopaths, and dissenters (Ghandi) are fascinating. What I wouldn't give to have dinner with Hitler.
Evolution is a very slow process and has not stopped. Humans are evolving, albeit at an incredibly slow rate because we have minimal evolutionary pressures on us. Even the weakest among us survives.
I do not find it impossible or even improbable that life exists as it does, or that the universe is ordered the way that it is. In fact, I think its inevitable.
Time and space are likely infinite. Although the odds of life arising on a planet such as ours are incredibly small, when faced with eternity and infinity, the likelihood of such a thing occurring is inevitable.
For you the order of existence is preposterous; for me it is the inevitable result of infinity.
You are absolutely correct on the issue of morality. The godless have no solid foundation for absolute morality, although many try to justify some form of morality.
However, morality does not exist. Morality is a human creation based upon emotional responses to the consequences of another's action upon ourselves. Morality is simply a perception and does not really exist.
Truth is the same. Truth does not exist. Truth is simply a human interpretation of existence and human interpretation is limited to human existence.
So you are right, without God morality is just opinion and one person's morality is no better than another's.
I have no problem with this. Adhering to archaic notions of morality limits us, it does not strengthen us.
Kindness in and of itself is not good. Murder in and of itself is not bad. We need to transcend the classical interpretations of morality that limit our potential as human beings.
Again good and bad don't exist. There is no right and wrong. These things are simply human creations.
Furthermore, human existence is meaningless. The afterlife is an attempt to escape the absolute finality of death and the harsh reality of our own purposelessness. We need to invent God to give us purpose where we have none.
One day every single one of us will be dead. The human race have made no impact on anything. There was an eternity before we were here and there will be an eternity after we are gone. We are an insignificant race, on an insignificant rock, in the corner of an insignificant galaxy, in the corner of an infinite universe. We don't really even exist.
The universe doesn't care if we kill, or rape, or lie, or steal. These notions of right and wrong are useful for maintaining and ordered society and nothing more.

And
DID YOU KNOW?
That Thomas Jefferson, perhaps the most genius man in the last 3 centuries said:
"In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own."

Man all I have to say is you paint such a bleak picture of everything if I believed as you do I would just commit suicide as life is just hopeless according to you.
I however do think their is good and evil. I understand your points I just disagree with them strongly.
Ad I said before I know with absolute certainty that their is a God because he has spoken to me many times. I have had prayer answered so many times that mathematically it can't be coincidence or at least has next to a zero probability.
Now we have miracles. How do you explain that? A person is dying of cancer and the tumors are evident in x rays and scans.
This person is prayed over and the next day the tumors are gone completely. What Happened.
Also I have not personally experienced this but my Sister has many times.
She went to a spiritual meeting in Toronto. She had a prophetic dream before she left.
While in Toronto , complete strangers ( I think about ten ) all came up to her and described her dream in detail. She had prayed for a sign from God and then had the dream and had it confirmed as prophetic by all these believers.
Now I can certainly understand why someone like you that has never experienced the divine or as some like to call it the supernatural , might not have the faith of someone that has.
But their are countless examples of things spiritual violating scientific principles all the time.
Science will say a certain thing just can't happen in the natural world , and then it happens anyway.
I have experienced these unexplainable things many times and thus have a deep and abiding faith in God.
I will end with a quote that is not mine but that has stood the test of time.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy

I agree with Jefferson that the Priest is and should be hostile to Liberty.
You see you are under the mistaken assumption that all Liberty is good. IT IS NOT.
Any society recognizes that in it's laws. Unfettered Liberty is called Anarchy and is uncivilized.
The Priest certainly would be against the Liberty to murder or to violate your wedding vows. He would be against the Liberty to rape and rob and other things that any civilized society recognizes if left unchecked will destroy said society.
So Jefferson's comments do not denigrate the Priest but hold him up as an example that there has to be someone that is hostile to unfettered Liberty ( I would substitute the word Liberalism ).
Sodom and Gomorrah come to mind when I think about what happens with unfettered Liberty.
With unfettered Liberty or no God to stop me I could just justify shooting you and those like you so as to wipe out your way of thinking.
Now I do not do that because my belief in Gd puts constraints ( I would argue good for humanity constraints )on me as far as my conduct.
So once again I believe Jefferson's statement is not contradictory to spirituality being correct.
I'll give you an example of unfettered freedom , in the free speech arena. When McSwane used his childish profanity and then his behind the first amendment as a coward , it only took me two days to get these champions of free speech to cry STOP.
They lied and said their only reason for the headline was to spark debate about free speech. WHAT BS. But hey I took them at their word and so I to wanted to spark debate.
So since they used the tool of profanity they certainly could not deny me that tool or they would be hypocrites.
So even though I do not use profanity I did for about two days.
In two days I had the same students that touted McSwane cursing as some sort of free speech God or hero , whining like babies for me to stop cursing so much.
First of all free speech is an myth. Just threaten the Presidents life publicly if you think free speech has no limits.
So once again true unfettered freedom breeds anarchy and destroys countries.

Unfortunately, in order to avoid a violation of principles, I can't commit suicide. Suicide is an attempt to give death meaning. Since nothing has any meaning, to attempt to give something meaning is a violation of my beliefs.
I won't disagree that bizarre things happen, but not just to Christians. My uncle-in-law (is that a real title?) is a devout Buddhist and has had 6 individuals who do not know each other tell him he is the reincarnation of the same tibeten monk who was murdered by the Chinese in the 1958. I'm not entirely sure how to explain this or the situation with your wife, although I do suspect that the answer can be found in a variety of metaphysical and scientific theories, including but not limited to string theory.
One study in particular comes to mind.
About 5 years ago a study was done on the affects of spoken words on the formation of water crystals. When pleasant, supportive words such as "good" were spoken to the water, the crystals formed perfectly. When angry or demeaning words were spoken to the water, the crystals were deformed. Although I will certainly not conclude anything definitive from this study, I do find it intriguing.
I can see the appeal of religion, god, spirituality, etc. If I could believe it, I gladly would. My experience has led me away from it, and my faith in reason have cemented my disdain for it.

I've got another Jefferson quote.
"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes."

I'll give you an example of every great nation. All of them started with some form of God and laws supporting that belief.
They all fell when they became morally weak and strayed from their beginnings.
Now what civilizations took the place of these immoral empires.
It was another civilization with the moral compass and ethics that invariably took over.
When others try to attack and take what is yours it takes a sense of community to generate an army or defense.
If we all believed as you do there would be no reason to fight for anything and we would simply descend into anarchy and chaos where every one that was more powerful than you would take what is yours ( including you life on a whim ).
As I said without that spiritually generated sense of right and wrong then if you say drove a Ferrari , then I could just kill you and take your car. Problem solved. I don't have to listen to your point of view and I get a cool car in the bargain.
Now since I would be subscribing to your no evil or wrong theory I wouldn't even feel guilty about killing you.
Then once I did that i might as well just go on a killing spree and kill everyone that is smaller than me.
I am sorry but your way just keeps leading to anarchy , death and chaos.
Even if you were right , and I think your dead wrong, your way is no way for human beings to live.
Unless you advocate global violence and debauchery as a good way of life.

As I said, morally is extremely useful for social control and stability. Community, morality, and religion allow society to flourish. Without them societies fall as you said.
I don't advocate global violence and debauchery as a good way of life - if there is such a thing. Perhaps it would be better for everyone if we did just put ourselves out of our misery.
That doesn't mean that there is absolute morality or that God really exists. On that point you and I will continue to disagree I'm sure.
I appreciate your opinions and have enjoyed our dialog. Gave a good night.

Hey, 864 and Hawley and the nutjob outside Clark,
If you believe so strongly that you are sooo righteous and everyone else is going to hell then why do you care. Who cares what we do. We sure as hell don't care that you believe in god. Go for it! Be the best sheep in the flock. We don't care. Stand on top of stump and yell at passers by. Quit your day job and wander the streets with your homeless family. Travel from campus to campus condemning people across the country. Spend every bit of free time you have talking trash on a college website. WE DON'T CARE.
We don't believe in god so trying to scare us won't work. It's like telling someone not to be bad or else the werewolf will eat you. It's just not scary...unless you believe in werewolves.

Nemesissy.
All I need to destroy your argument is to quote what you said and expose it's fallacy.
You said ......
We sure as hell don't care that you believe in god
We don't care
First of all you said we don't care twice. Redundant. Secondly you said we. Unless that is a mouse in your pocket you have no authority to speak for anyone else but you.
So a proper response would be I DON'T CARE.
But the main reason your argument is in error.
YOU IBVIOUSLY CAREAS A PERSON WHO REALLY DIDN'T CARE WOULD NOT EVEN FEEL THE NEED TO SAY HE DOESN'T CARE.
So by opening your mouth you show you care.
Most intelligent people that could care less about someone show that by not communicating or responding to them.
How many times did you say WE DON'T CARE?
Me thinks you doth protest to much. LOL!
If someone says it is not about the money , it is about the money.
When someone keeps repeating WE DON'T CARE over and over , THEY CARE.

great joke.
Two Arabs boarded a flight out of London. One took a window seat, and the other sat next to him, in the middle seat.
Just before takeoff, a Marine sat down in the aisle seat.
After takeoff, the Marine kicked his shoes off, wiggled his toes and was just settling in, when the Arab in the window seat said, "I need to get up and get a Coke."
"Don't get up," said the Marine, "I'm in the aisle seat. I'll get it for you."
As soon as he left, one of the Arabs picked up the Marine's shoe, and spat in it.
When the Marine returned with the Coke, the other Arab said, "That looks good. I'd really like one, too."
Again, obligingly, the Marine went to fetch it.
While he was gone, the other Arab picked up the Marine's other shoe, and spat in it.
When the Marine returned, they all sat back and enjoyed the flight.
As the plane was landing, the Marine slipped his feet into his shoes - and knew immediately what had happened.
"Why does it have to be this way?" he asked.
"How long must this go on? This fighting between our nations? This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in shoes............and pissing in Cokes?"
THE MARINES WILL ALWAYS WIN!
