Our View: Collegian needs your feedback
Abstract:
Hello fellow Rams who have immersed yourselves in classes, day jobs and, hopefully, some relaxation during the summer months in Fort Collins. We hope you're all enjoying the strange peace and quiet that has filled the absence left by the majority of about 25,000 CSU students....

What's up Collegian Staff?!
I do not quite live in Ft. Collins (just two more months (:-), but I do live in the suburban Denver area.
Summer strikes me as a time to soak up the sun's rays -- you just gotta spend as much time outdoors as possible. And from what I've noticed, as a dog owner myself, it is a time well-spent with your furry four-legged friend.
But summer enjoyment comes with a price. Along with bright sunny days and vast green fields -- perfect for K-9 energy exertion -- the thermometer wants to have fun, too. Sometimes triple-digit fun.
An article about doggy dehydration being a real threat would be cool, but only if it had a poll asking how many people actually DOO pick up their dog's do-do in public places. It would be interesting to see; and I always intend to pick up my two best buddie's dirty work, but I always forget the bag!
Although some neighborhoods have bag receptacles along their public sidewalks, it's fun to wonder if a majority or minority of people actually do want to feel the mushy warm sensation of perro poopoo on their morning walk....
or maybe all this talk about CAW-CAW will churn the readers' stomach...
but it's just an idea ;-)

I don't remember seeing McSwane write an article giving his personal phone to be contacted.
Of course when McSwane ruled ( the operative word being ruled , wile calling his co workers underlings )he did not want any input , as he considered him self as the orbiter of all truth.
LOL!
So kudos to the Collegian for opening up to your readers. GOOD JOB!
