As an alumnus, it's a pleasure to see one more of Dr. Strayer's student doing an exceptional job. Sure, the school needs more money every fiscal year, just as people do for cost-of-living increases and such; it's the point of making small increases annually versus very large, very impacting, increases every 5 to 10 years.

Kudos to Ragland, Dr. Strayer's intern program and the Poli Sci Dept. Believe me when I say his students are making a large impact around the world, because I am married to one of them!

Above all, the importance of giving back to the school where you EARNED a degree is beyond description. I, personally, know it's hard to donate while paying off 10+ years-worth of student loans - but in the end, giving back is rewarding.
