Death penalty for murderer for two CSU grads
Abstract:
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) _ Sir Mario Owens has been sentenced to death for the slaying of a potential witness and his fiancee.
Jurors last month found the 23-year-old Owens guilty of first-degree murder in the June 2005 deaths of Javad Marshall-Fields and his fiancee, Vivian Wolfe....

Any mother would be inclined to overlook her son's mishaps -- even if it is something as heinous as a double homicide! She was probably still in the quake of denial, of disbelief that one of her children was sentenced to D-I-E! Most mothers are extremely biased in favor of their children (mine is anyway).
Regardless, the ruling was clearly the rational and objective decision of an untainted jury. Seven hours is enough time to knit 3 sweaters, bake 6 cakes, and stew over the morally proper verdict for Mario Owens -- death!
Anyone who resorts to such violence so hastily -- and "lethal" violence, for that matter -- is someone we don't want romping through our back alleys and boulevards. The death penalty ensures that this individual will no longer be a threat to our local communities.
It is a relief to know that real justice is being served.
Long live America!

I cracked up Ty. Nice to here from you again. Yea I guess I'll admit my Mom is pretty biased on the subject of me. LOL!
I agree the verdict was just and neccesary. Liberals always want to experiment and cure. The problem is they allow people back into society that have no reason here and the re-offend.
There is only one way to absolutely make sure a murderer never murders , EXECUTE HIM.
Do I feel sorry for his Mom. YOU BET! I feel sorry her son chose to put her in this situation.
But I feel a lot more sorry for the friends and parents of those innocent kids he butchered.
At least Colorado is not so Liberal they can't see the need for death in this case.

The only two people currently on death row are, as the article evidenced, those who committed mass murder...and where, might you ask?...AURORA, COLORADO!
The third largest city in Colorado, with regards to population, behind only Denver County and Colorado Springs (or maybe Boulder?)...it resonates with me, though, because that's where I've grown up and practically my entire family resides there. Not to mention, hundreds of thousands of others with roots in "A-Town".
So is there any possibility, whatsoever, that Owens gets his sentence overturned like Eddie Montour, Jrs.' in 2007???
Both of these hooligans, Nathan Dunlap (the "Chuck E. Cheese Killer") and Mario Owens, MUST be lethally executed for what they've done.

How the hell do you get off saying the execution of your murdering son is the same as his cold blooded killing of two innocent people.
If this is the morals and character you gave your son it is no wonder he ended up where he is.
I have no sympathy for a guy that kills two innocent people. I might have had some sympathy for you his mother until you opened you mouth and made such a contemptible statement.
