Thank the lord. President Penley was about the least student friendly president in the country. And John Lincoln is gone too! No more attempted 46% tuition increases in a single year! And also, the Collegian needs to do its best to figure out why he left. I totally don't buy the official story. He has to have been fired for a good reason. You don't just leave a university presidentship because you want to be freer to find another job. He didn't just upset students, he had to upset someone with more power as well.

Not to diminish what you have done but we must move on. I would like to suggest Jeffery Sean Lehman former president of Cornell University as successor. I believe this man demonstrates a philosophy of student empowerment that would jive better with our students and our state government. Please look into this option and consider it CSU.
