According to COtrip Colorado Highway 14 is closed due to a landslide and multiple mudslides. The road closure began at 2:46 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the area that remains in effect until 4:45 p.m.

Tickets for the 84th annual CSU-CU rivalry game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High will go on sale Monday, July 16. The game will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, and will be Jim McElwain’s first game as CSU coach.

With the major danger in Colorado shifting from fire to flood, Gov. John Hickenlooper has lifted the statewide fire bans that have been in place since June 14. Many counties are expected to move from extreme or high fire danger to moderate or low fire danger over the next week.
Local craft brewery New Belgium will be opening a restaurant and bar at the Snowmass ski resort in Aspen, Colorado in mid-November. The brewery will be partnering with Westin Resorts and Patches O’Houllihan, Inc. to bring Colorado’s specialty beer scene to an international destination.
