Sexual assault on CSU campus on Thursday, Oct. 25

At 10 p.m. Thursday, there was a sexual assault at the Jack Christansen Field on the east side of the CSU campus, according to a text message alert sent out by the CSU Public Safety Team. The male suspect is described as wearing a black ski mask, brown Carhartt-style jacket, Levi’s jeans and work boots. He was in possession of a pocket knife when he attacked the female victim from behind, who was walking the track, according to safety.colostate.edu.

He was last seen heading eastbound toward College Avenue.

No further information was released because police are investigating the incident.

At 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, a sexual assault was attempted, but did not occur, according to CSUPD Public Information Officer Dell Rae Moellenberg.
